COTTCO is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Internal IT Auditor to join our Internal Audit Department. This role involves providing assurance, adding value, and supporting the organization’s commitment to improving operations through a systematic and disciplined audit approach. You will play a key part in evaluating IT systems, identifying risks, and recommending solutions that enhance the security, efficiency, and effectiveness of COTTCO’s technology infrastructure.

•Evaluate and test general IT controls, providing value-added feedback and recommendations

•Perform compliance testing of IT systems and controls

•Assist the Internal Audit Manager with special reviews, projects, and IT-focused audits

•Review IT policies and procedures, including change management, disaster recovery, and information security

•Test application controls to ensure proper design and operational effectiveness

•Support the Business Internal Audit team by conducting full audits, risk assessments, and fraud prevention evaluations

•Assist in compiling internal audit reports and presenting findings

•Identify system and network vulnerabilities, creating action plans to mitigate risks

•Provide project assurance for ongoing IT projects

•Develop and implement data analysis tools to enhance audit efficiency and risk assessment processes

•Follow up on audit assignments and stay informed about industry best practices, standards, and compliance requirements

•Respond to system or network security breaches and perform regular security audit testing

•Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to strengthening the IT audit framework

•Collaborate with external auditors as needed

•Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field

•Working towards CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) qualification

•Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT auditing

•Knowledge of data analytics tools

•Project management experience or certification is an added advantage
