Internal Audit Supervisor

Reporting to the Internal Audit Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for providing assistance to the Manager to achieve the objectives of the Internal Audit Department

In addition, he/she will be responsible for feeding back any required development of the operating systems, and policies and procedures in order to enhance and improve operations, protect the business from risk, ensure continual compliance with appropriate legislation and with industry best practice

Requirements:

Should be prepared to work after normal hours and at weekends as may be required.
Experience with the audit of manufacturing entities,
Audit experience in public accounting or internal audit,
Five (5) plus years of audit experience in public accounting or internal audit
Accounting Degree (required)
Demonstrated technical abilities in select areas (audit, accounting, regulatory, compliance, etc.)
Good analytical, interpersonal, time management, research, and communications skills
Must be able to effectively work with new and changing situations including new industry regulations; where there may not always be a readily apparent solution
Must be able to view controls issues and concerns from the perspective of the Senior Management
Must be capable of presenting results to senior management
