REPORTING TO: ASSISTANT INTERNAL AUDITOR

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Writing of Audit Programs, engagement letters and actual audit activity
  • Carrying out spot checks on regular basis on cash and stock items
  • Carrying out spot checks on the utilization of resources by departments
  • Verifying records and financial data to check for accuracy
  • Ensuring compliance and adherence to control policies and procedures
  • Maintaining all files, audit reports, audit working papers and correspondences for review
  • Assisting in carrying out traditional and risk based audits
  • Any other duties as assigned by the Internal Auditor

Requirements

  • At least 5 ‘O’ Levels including English Language and Mathematics
  • Minimum of National Diploma in Accounting/Auditing/Business Studies from a recognized Institution
  • A Higher National Diploma will be an added advantage
  • Computer literacy
  • The Candidate must be a person of high integrity
  • Not more than 30 years of age
