Audit Section
Internal Audit Assistant (1 Post)
Duties and Responsibilities:
Evaluates the University’s operating controls and policies. Provides advice and support to the University on the creation and modification of policies, procedures, and processes. Conducts follow-ups reviews of audited units to gauge progress in remediation. Prepares audit programs and work plans.
Qualifications and Experience:
Qualifications
A first degree in any one of the following: Accounting, Auditing, Risk Management, Business Information Systems, Business Studies. Relevant professional qualifications (e.g. ACCA, CIS, CIMA)
Experience and Qualities
Two years relevant post qualification experience preferably in a University setting.Critical thinker with strong analytical and IT skills and meticulous attention to detail. Possess a high level of professionalism and integrity. Good interpersonal and documentation skills with a proven ability to communicate effectively (both written and verbal) with all levels of staff and management.
