Key Responsibilities
- developing creative and functional designs tailored to meet client needs and preferences
- space planning
- creating construction drawings
- selecting and specifying furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E)
- collaborating with architects and contractors to ensure design projects are executed efficiently
- staying up-to-date with design trends
- maintaining adherence to project budgets and timelines
Requirements
- Proficiency in Space Planning and Interior Design to create aesthetically pleasing and functional spaces
- Knowledge of Architecture and experience working closely with architects and contractors
- Proficiency in design software and tools such as Cohoom primarily, AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar
- Skills in creating precise Construction Drawings to convey design concepts and plans
- Expertise in FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment) selection and specification
- Strong project management, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to balance creativity with practical considerations of budget and timelines
- Proven experience with Coohom and digital design workflows.
- Portfolio showcasing relevant Coohom projects
- Formal education in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
- Experience in residential or commercial interior design projects is a plus
