VACANCY
Duties:
-
Provide technical expertise, capturing and promoting innovations emerging from the University’s Research-Innovation-Industrialisation Ecosystem towards product development and impact.
-
Oversee the management of innovation processes and systems within their specific areas of expertise.
-
Provide leadership and technological support in ideation, design thinking and actualisation of novel research and innovation products.
-
Take the lead in intellectual property (IP) development, protection and commercialisation.
-
Conduct related duties as may be assigned by the Innovation Hub Manager and/or Research Specialists.
Qualifications and Experience
-
Minimum of a Master’s Degree or equivalent in the relevant area from an accredited institution.

Experience with interacting with students and/or teaching and learning, and research processes at university level.
-
Demonstrated experience in product development.
-
Proven track record in multidisciplinary research, collaboration and/or management of partnerships.
