Cassava Smartech is looking for a competent, versatile, and dynamic Infrastructure Manager to join its technical team. The successful incumbent will be responsible for managing infrastructure where all corporate data and application systems are hosted.
Duties And Responsibilities
Drafts IS infrastructure budgets for incorporation into departmental budgets.
Constantly reviews infrastructure capacity to always ensure adequate resource allocations
Schedules service/maintenance of systems and equipment per vendor recommendations.
Ensures adherence to, and application of the IS Policies in the configuration of infrastructure.
Keeps abreast of the new technologies and identifies areas for system improvements.
Ensures compliance with all IS policies and monitors all system user access permissions.
Supervises the implementation of Disaster recovery plans, their operation and review in-line with set out objectives.
Carries out periodic inspection of disaster recovery facilities (onsite, offsite), logs, media, procedures, and their effectiveness
Ensures licensing of all Systems by authenticating licenses for new systems and renewing for existing ones.
Develops section tactical plans to meet its agreed goals and objectives, meet sectional staff on a weekly basis, identifies and agrees on key result areas, key objectives/tasks and action plans.
