Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with corporate ICT policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Support implementation of annual ICT work plans.
  • Ensure compliance with Zimbabwe’s Personal Data Protection regulations while performing Data Protection Officer responsibilities.
  • Align country ICT operations with global ICT standards.
  • Support ICT infrastructure planning, including servers, networking equipment, internet connectivity, and communication systems.
  • Assessing ICT business requirements and implementing secure, reliable infrastructure.
  • Providing first-line technical support for hardware, software, networks, and corporate applications.
  • Installing, configuring, maintaining, and monitoring ICT systems and network infrastructure.
  • Managing cybersecurity controls, system patching, antivirus protection, encryption, backups, and access management.
  • Supporting staff onboarding through ICT setup and user account management.
  • Coordinating ICT projects, ERP implementations, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Managing ICT vendors and service providers.

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a similar ICT role.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange Server, Microsoft 365, SQL Server, and collaboration platforms.
  • Experience in systems administration, networking, database administration, and technical support.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, SAGE, or Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity, AI technologies, and emerging ICT trends.
  • Experience with Cisco networking equipment, routers, and satellite connectivity.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • NGO or development sector experience will be an added advantage.
  • Zimbabwean nationals.
