INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY NETWORK SECURITY SPECIALISTS x2

RESPONSIBILITY

‘Ihe incumbent shall be responsible to the Information Technology Security and Governance Manager.

KEY JOB PURPOSE

To assist in managing the day-to-day Information Technology security operations of NetOne Cellular (Pvt) Limited.
‘The incumbent is also responsible for vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, projects securin’ assessment, and information technology procedures and policies development.

PRINCIPAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Performs vulnerability assessments of the ICT Infrastructure covering the network, databases, systems, operating systems, active directory, web servers, websites, WiFi access points;
2. Manages Information Technology Security engineering and assists with remediation of technical vulnerabilities;
3. Monitors performance of Information Technology Security Risk assessments;
4. Ensures cybersecurity awareness for all staff members;
5. Maintains all the software and hardware in relation to security;
6. Identifies current and emerging technology issues including security trends, vulnerabilities, and threats;
7. Implements new security solutions to better protect the organization;
8. Conducts proactive research to analyze security weaknesses and recommend appropriate strategies;
9. Closes off security vulnerabilities in the case of an attack by liaising with the internal Technology Services team.
10. Liaises with vendors to implement security solutions.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
⦁ A degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or equivalent;
⦁ Security certifications such as CISA or CISM or CISSP or CEH is a must;
⦁ 2-4 years experience in Technology Services Cyber Security and Risk Management or related environment;
⦁ Strong knowledge of data privacy and data protection regulations;
⦁ A clean Class 4 driver’s License is a must.
