Reporting to the Senior Auditor-Information Systems
The IT Auditor will be responsible for assessing security and accuracy of accurate systems audits as part of an assigned team.

Key Duties:

* Auditing and Execution: Assess systems risks, financial reporting, and accounting transaction processes to ensure their accuracy, and compliance with internal controls and relevant standards. Review documentation related to IT audits, lead schedules, and compute material levels for audited entities.
* Financial Reporting: Review IT financial reporting and accounting for various methods (inspection, observation, inquiry, recalculation, and re-performance). Reconcile bank accounts, financial records, procurement, and revenue flows from government projects/programs. Assist in developing and carrying out IT audit procedures related to financial reporting.
* Audit Procedures: Prepare draft audit opinions and propose corrective and preventative actions. Draft management letters, prepare risk management plans, and budgets.
* Entry and Exit Meetings: Attend and participate in entry and exit meetings for audit investigations, documenting key decisions and action items for management.
* IT Application Usage: Proficiently use IT applications (spreadsheets, word processing, presentations, email). Assess, implement, and test for IT resource integrity and security (password protection, backups, and virus). Assess and manage IT risks.

Educational Requirements:

* Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems or equivalent.
* Part Professional qualification – CISA.

Job Experience:

* 1 year working experience.
