The Zimbabwe Stock Exchange is the largest Stock Exchange in Zimbabwe, and it is going through a growth phase.
This is evidenced by the number of new products, services, and markets the organisation has recently introduced.
These include the Victoria Falls Stock Exchange, the Zimbabwe Receivables Market, ZSE Direct, and Exchange Traded Funds.
About the role
We are looking for an experienced and motivated security and quality assurance professional who is passionate about Information Technology. Quality and security is paramount to us and therefore we are looking for an individual who can confidently resolve problems and assist in making decisions. This role will involve working within our ICT team but providing assistance to the various areas in the business giving advice and offering improvement Opportunities. This role will allow you to grow your knowledge of capital markets, helping the team identify technical gaps, promoting capability growth, and championing & demonstrating modern quality principles and practices.
What will you be doing?
The Information Security and Quality Assurance Manager will be required to achieve the fallowing key responsibilities:
- Guide the quality and security practices in the 7SE team, identifying risks and resolving challenges to ensure processes and tools are optimised for their context.
- Champion automation of tests processes and ensure deployment pipelines are fit for purpose.
- Support all systems to ensure all software is running as expected and proactively work to prevent customer- facing problems.
- Involved in all stages of the delivery process from refinement to post-implementation verification.
- Positively grow, build and nurture strong positive relationships with the team and stakeholders.
- Manage all problem solving sessions that are ICT related.
- Supervise, coach and support direct reports’ development.
What are we looking for?
To successfully fill this role, you will have the following:
- A degree in Information technology from a reputable university
- At least five years post qualification experience.
- Certification in CISSP CISA, CISM or any security related qualification.
- Worked as a lead quality engineer, managing testing across the development team with highly structured testing processes and alignment to testing standards.
- Be a quality champion – share your knowledge, lead and coach others in analysis, testing and quality practices so the team is effective at building quality in early.
- Significant practical expertise in test automation for all aspects of a modern tech stack; Inc. web apps, APIs, etc.
- Superior analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent oral, written, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
