Duties And Responsibilities

Key Accountabilities:

The scope of this position involves the carrying out the following responsibilities

• Coordinating compliance with Minimum Control Standards across Industrial departments.

• Coordinating effective Daily, Weekly and Monthly governance meetings, as per approved meetings matrix.

• Coordinating implementation of digital initiatives across industrial departments.

• Maintaining Action Logs, following up with action owners, ensuring effective closure of actions is reflected through relevant Key Performance Indicators.

• Timeously preparing Monthly and Weekly reports, ensuring accuracy and coherence.

• Supporting Plant Controller to generate accurate and timely Daily Performance Reports.

• Supporting Plant Controller on materials stock surveys, generating Production Data Reconciliations, eliminating stock variances and write-offs.

• Analysing reported Industrial KPIs, ensuring accuracy and coherence, guiding KPI owners on opportunities for improvement.

• Analysing manufacturing costs in relation to KPIs and identifying opportunities for reduction.

• Ensuring accurate, complete and timely submission of Industrial Performance Benchmarking information, identifying opportunities for improvement, and coordinating.

• Supporting Production Manager with Clinker and Cement volumes and stocks evolution forecasts, and keeping this process live and visible to stakeholders.

• Evaluating performance of Third Party Service providers, identifying opportunities for improvement and cost reduction.

Contract Duration

The contract will be a permanent contract

Qualifications And Experience

Qualifications:

• B. Sc. Engineering Degree or technical degree.

• 4 years previous experience in a manufacturing industry or related industry.

• Experience in a planning or logistics role

Key Competencies:

• Comply with applicable internal control standards and responsibilities ensuring that prescribed standards are designed and operating effectively.

• Good command of computer applications and digital applications.

• Strong analytical skills.

• Ability to multitask and prioritise

• Strong knowledge of the fundamentals of the cement industrial process
