The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining and troubleshooting industrial electrical systems and production machinery to ensure maximum equipment reliability and minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities
- Installing, maintaining and repairing electrical systems, equipment and machinery within the manufacturing plant.
- Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery to minimize breakdowns and downtime.
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical faults on industrial equipment and restoring operations promptly.
- Conducting routine inspections of electrical installations to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Installing, testing and commissioning new electrical equipment and machinery.
- Maintaining and repairing electric motors, control panels, drives, sensors, switchgear and lighting systems.
- Reading and interpreting electrical drawings, wiring diagrams and technical manuals.
- Ensuring compliance with electrical safety regulations, company policies and statutory requirements.
- Recording maintenance activities, repairs and equipment history in maintenance logs.
- Assisting in the implementation of preventive and predictive maintenance programmes.
- Responding promptly to emergency machine breakdowns to ensure continuity of production.
- Working closely with the Production and Maintenance teams to improve machine reliability and operational efficiency.
- Monitoring electrical spare parts and reporting shortages to the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping in the workshop and electrical work areas.
- Carrying out any other duties as assigned by Management.
Requirements
- The ideal candidate should possess a National Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, with at least five (5) years’ experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
- Experience working with polypropylene woven bag manufacturing machinery or similar plastic processing equipment will be an added advantage.
