Applications are invited from suitably qualified, experienced, self-motivated and task oriented individuals to fill the above position that have arisen within the Office of the Town Cleric.
THE PERSON SPECIFICATION
- BSc in Computer Science or equivalent from recognized institutions.
- Professional qualification in Networking is a must
- Knowledge of Sophos XG firewall
- Applicant should have at least two years’ experience in the field of Networking
- Membership to a relevant professional body is a must.
- Exposure to local authorities ICT systems will be an added advantage
KEY RESI IT AREAS
- Installation and administration of Local Area Network (LAN)
- Hardware Maintenance
- Maintaining existing software and hardware and upgrading any that have become obsolete
- Overseeing the smooth running of the ICT Workshop
- Supervision of ICT staff
- Good Communication Skills
KEY COM PETENCES
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to work effectively, both independently and within a team
- Ability to handle pressure and work with minimum supervision
