Job Description

A newly established Savings Bank based in Harare is looking for an ICT Manager. The ideal candidate should innovative, possesses good problem solving and leadership skills.

Duties and Responsibilities

a. Managing IT Infrastructure including network systems, servers, databases and software applications.
b. Implementing and maintaining security measures to protect the bank’s sensitive data and information
c. Developing and implementing IT strategies and roadmaps to align with the bank’s business goals and objectives
d. Managing IT budgets and resources to ensure cost-effective solutions and optimal use of technology investments.
e. Identifying and mitigating IT risks that could impact the bank’s operations or reputation.
f. Identifying and implementing new technologies that can improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the bank’s operations.
g. Leading and managing a team of IT professionals, including network administrators, system analysts and support staff

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications
a. A Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field
b. Masters in Computer Science or Equivalent
c. Must be fluent in English, with strong interpersonal, writing, and oral presentation skills Relevant computer software skills.

Experience
i. 7 years of professional experience in a Bank ICT department.
ii. At least 3 years of management experience in a similar reputable organization.
