Duties:

• Analyzing, designing and deploying systems infrastructure in liaison with senior Systems Administrators, system vendors and network engineers
• Assisting in audit and compliance management to ensure there are no breaches to policies in the organization
• Executing and maintaining replication of critical business systems to Disaster Recovery site Overseeing Input/ Output performance of production systems at the storage subsystem level
• Collaborating with other Systems Administrators to ensure optimum storage usage for capacity and performance
• Developing and maintaining documentation for entire data center systems and infrastructure
• Ensuring the security and integrity of data, storage virtual systems and Fibre Channel data networks
• Performing and analyzing storage disaster simulations for prompt restoration of services and conducting security audits where required
• Testing Disaster Recovery plans to assess storage replication effectiveness regularly

Requirements

• The ideal position holder should possess the following competencies, skills & experience:
• BSc Hons Information Systems, Informatics, Business Studies and Computer Technology, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics or any related degree
• At least one-year working experience Experience of working with networked computing systems/windows TCP/IT networking Knowledge of and competence in Microsoft and Linux, operating system and office suite
• Good judgment, problem determination and resolution skills Demonstrate a customer-centric, motivated and pro-active approach to work Strong communication (written B spoken) and interpersonal skills. Strong planning, organizational and problem-solving skills with ability to work hands-on, independently and within team.
