JOB DESCRIPTION
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the position of Human Resources Payroll Officer which has fallen vacant.
Reporting to: The Group Human Resources Manager
Duties and Responsibilities inter-alia;
- Provision of high-quality guidance and support in developing and progressing people management solutions.
- To assist line management in the direction of the HR service and to assess the impact of major policy and legislative change.
- Assist in recruitment and selection processes.
- Collating and processing payroll input data.
- Payroll data validation.
- Processing statutory payments and any other deductions.
- Filling of personnel records, both hard and soft copies.
- Manage leave accruals and leave taken.
- Liaising with payroll service providers.
- Attending to payroll queries and maintaining a register of queries.
- Managing payroll costs.
- Reconciling payroll.
- Preparing employee statistics and other information required for Human Resources audits.
- Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual payroll activity.
Person Specification
- Applicant should have at least 3 years of relevant Human Resources Payroll experience.
- Bachelors’ degree in Human Resources/Accounting/Business Management from a recognised university.
- An IPMZ diploma in Personnel Management is an added advantage.
