Galaway Management Services has been retained by one of its clients – a manufacturing company to recruit and select suitable candidates for the position of Human Resources Officers
Duties And Responsibilities
• Recruit staff, which involves developing job descriptions and person specifications, preparing job adverts, checking application forms, shortlisting, interviewing and selecting candidates
• Advise on pay and other remuneration issues, including promotion and benefits
• Promote equality and diversity as part of culture of the organization
• Negotiate with staff and their representatives on issues relating to pay and conditions, contracts and redundancy packages
• Administer payroll and maintain employee records
• Interpret and advise on employment law
• Work closely with various departments, increasingly in a consultancy role, assisting managers to understand and implement policies and procedures
• Deal with grievances and implement disciplinary procedures
• Develop HR planning strategies, which consider immediate and long-term staff requirements
Qualifications And Experience
• A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or any other social science degree.
• Professional Qualification such as IPMZ is a must
• A minimum of 3 years’ working experience.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
