Job Summary
Responsible for providing Human Resources support in the various functions which include recruitment, staffing, training and development, performance monitoring, employee counselling, grievances and disciplinary procedures.
Duties And Responsibilities
a. Human Resources planning.
b. Recruitment and Selection.
c. Staff training and development.
d. Safety, welfare and environment.
e. Advise on and resolves any industrial relations problems.
f. Ensure the correct application and adherence to labour statutes, policies including disciplinary procedure.
g. Accountable for the maintenance of accurate staff records.
h. Updating employee database system to ensure up to date records.
i. Implement strategies and policies that reward and compensate employees accordingly.
j. Initiates, co-ordinates and participates in the Council’s key forums.
k. Payroll Administration.
l. Carrying out any other duties as delegated by Superior.
Qualifications And Experience
1. Degree/HND in Human Resource Management/Social Sciences or equivalent.
2. At least 2 years’ professional working experience in a similar environment and/or at the same position.
