A well-established school trust is seeking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic, and highly motivated individual to the position of HR Manager. The successful applicant will be responsible for all the H.R processes and procedures throughout the school and will report to the CEO. This position is ideal for a hands-on individual who enjoys a busy, challenging, and complex working environment. Experience in working in an educational context would be desirable.

The Job Involves:

• The recruitment and selection process including writing and posting job announcements for all categories and levels of employees.
• Verifying candidate’s credentials including licensing and certification if required for positions.
• Performing or arranging reference checks and background checks.
• Overseeing hiring and exit interviews and procedures including new employee on boarding and the processing of initial and terminal paperwork.
• Keeping the staff directory and organisational charts up to date.
• Assisting in the preparation and updating of the employee handbook.
• Handling payroll.
• Ensuring compliance with employment laws and labour laws.
• Ensuring employees follow policies and procedures.
• Attending meetings with school CEO, principal, and heads of schools.
• Serve as liaison between administrators, professional and support staff.
• Maintaining records and reports including teacher certifications and professional development hours.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Human Resource Management or related field.
• At least 5 years’ experience.
