Key Responsibilities

 

Develop and execute HR strategies that align with the NPAZ’s mission, vision, and goals, with a focus on diversity and gender equity.
Advise senior management on HR best practices and policies, particularly in relation to gender issues.
Oversee recruitment, selection, and on boarding processes to attract and retain a diverse pool of talent.
Implement effective performance management systems that promote employee development, accountability, and career progression, ensuring equal opportunities for all.
Lead the development and implementation of gender equity initiatives and programs aimed at creating an inclusive organizational culture.
Monitor and evaluate gender representation within the workforce, providing recommendations for improvements.
Identify training needs and develop programs that promote awareness and understanding of gender issues, diversity, and inclusive practices.
Facilitate leadership development initiatives to empower underrepresented groups within the organization.
Foster positive employee relations by addressing concerns and grievances in a fair and equitable manner.
Implement employee engagement strategies that promote a respectful and collaborative workplace environment.
1. Assess and enhance compensation and benefits programs to ensure fairness and competitiveness while addressing gender disparities.

13. Provide guidance and support to management and staff on HR policies and procedures.
14. Utilize HR metrics to track and analyze workforce diversity and gender equity initiatives, presenting findings to management.
15. Prepare regular reports on HR performance and gender-related outcomes for the executive leadership team.

Qualifications

 

• A first Degree in Human Resources Management or Social
Sciences
• Master’s degree in a related field is required
• Qualification in Gender Studies is an added advantage
• A minimum of 10 consistent years of experience in human resources management within the Public Sector, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

2. Proven experience in developing and implementing gender-sensitive policies and initiatives within an organizational context.
