The above vacancy has arisen at a leading Insurance Company that educates and tailor makes products that address the variety of risks offered by the diverse nature of their clients. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager of the company, the successful candidate, who shall be Human Resource Officer, shall be expected, interalia, to discharge the following major responsibilities

Key Functions:
⦁ Assist in the recruitment and selection process to ensure that the organisation is manned by highly capable people to achieve organisational goals
⦁ Monitor short-n and long-term contracts, facilitating renewals on time
⦁ Advising departmental line management and staff on disciplinary and grievance handling procedures
⦁ Conduct follow-up on performance tracking to ensure all employees’ performance is always tracked
⦁ Assist in the preparation of annual manpower budget and plans in collaboration with Heads of Department
⦁ Maintaining employee (attendance, Staff data, etc) according to policy and
legal requirements
⦁ Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance
⦁ Provide guidance on human capital policies and procedures
⦁ Support the development and implementation of human capital initiatives and system

Qualifications & Experience:
⦁ A degree in Human Resources Management or Related Field.
⦁ A relevant professional qualification from a Professional Institute is an added advantage.
⦁ 3 years of working experience
⦁ High Degree of professionalism and integrity and ability to demonstrate good judgment, discretion, and confidentiality
