VACANCY: OVER-THE-COUNTER PHARMACY ASSISTANT
LOCATION: HARARE (MULTI-BRANCH) X2
Our client is seeking a reliable, energetic, and detail-oriented Over-the-Counter Pharmacy Assistant to support pharmacy operations while coordinating stock movement and deliveries across all branches and Head Office.
Requirements
-
Previous experience in a pharmacy or retail pharmacy environment is an added advantage
-
Basic knowledge of over-the-counter medicines and pharmacy operations
-
Ability to travel between branches and manage deliveries responsibly
-
Strong communication and customer service skills
-
Trustworthy, organised, and physically fit
-
Willingness to work flexible hours when required
-
Clean Class 3 Driver’s Licence is compulsory
Key Duties
-
Sale over-the-counter medicines in accordance with pharmacy regulations
-
Assist customers with product selection and appropriate usage advice within scope
-
Prepare, coordinate, and deliver stock and supplies to branches and Head Office
-
Maintain accurate records of stock issued, delivered, and received
-
Support stock control processes, including inventory counts and packing
-
Ensure cleanliness, order, and regulatory compliance within the pharmacy
-
Report shortages, damages, and discrepancies promptly
-
Provide operational support to pharmacists and branch teams as required
