Job Description
Zimbabwe Mining Development Corporation is a major player in the Zimbabwean Mining Industry and a key contributor to the growth of the Zimbabwean economy through mining and mining development. The Corporation has the following exciting, fixed term opportunities that have arisen at our Golden Kopje Mine (Chinhoyi).
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities
• Processing Purchase Requisitions, Request for Quotations, tenders, direct
purchases orders in accordance to laid down procedures
• Conducting adjudications for submitted quotations and tenders
• Ensuring compliance of venders and suppliers to user and procedural
requirements
• Procuring spares, consumables and services with the mine threshold limit in
accordance to PPDPA Act
• Timeous procurement of critical spares, inputs and other time-sensitive goods or
services
• Procurement planning
Qualifications and Experience
Qualifications
• Degree or HND in Purchasing and Supply
• Knowledge of SAP MM Module
• Knowledge of public procurement
• 5 O level passes
• 5 years working experience in mining setup
• High levels of integrity
