VACANCY: HR ASSISTANT
The above mentioned vacancy has arisen in the HR Department, reporting to the HR Officer. Applications are therefore invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the position.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
A minimum of 5 ‘O’ Levels including Maths, English and Science.
A degree in Human Resources management or a professional qualification in Human Resources management from a recognised institution.
At least 2 years work experience.
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
Be honest and trustworthy.
Be flexible and able to work under minimum supervision.
Have proper traceable references.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in recruitment and selection.
Prepare offer letters and contracts for new employees.
Maintain accurate and up to date employee records.
Provide administrative support in disciplinary and performance appraisals
Attend to employee queries.
Coordinate employee training sessions and maintain training records.
Respond to HR inquires and give accurate advice to employees.
