Job Summary

North West High School located in Westgate (Madokero) offers modern learning facilities all nestled with new state of the art infrastructure offering both boarding and day for form 1 to 6 students. The School Board now seeks to recruit OUTSTANDING TEACHERS who have gained more than 3 years’ experience in an ATS environment and who have taught and produced excellent Cambridge results.

Duties And Responsibilities

• The teachers should be amazing, creative, compassionate, team players and believe in learnI4 through collaboration.
• The teachers should be computer literate have experience in online teaching platforms like Ms Team, Google classroom, D6 etc
• The teachers should be versatile and be able to teach a broad curriculum.
• Ability to communicate and high level of grooming and deportment is a must.

Qualifications And Experience

a) Be a holder of a first degree with a Grad CE or Post Graduate Diploma in Education and must have a Masters/Doctorate Degree in Education from a recognized institution and have
specialization in the preferred area of teaching. A degree in other related fields of study such as Sociology or Business would be an added advantage. mm
b) Candidates with experience in teaching Cambridge subjects, examine review and marking, management, pupil’s performance assessments and entrepreneurial skills will be treated
preferentially;
c) Possession of strong leadership skills at senior level gained while working for on ATS either as Head of classes, Departmental Head or Teacher in Charge is a pre- requisite;
d) An understanding of Cambridge teaching practices, governance, regulatory and legislation issues in the educational sector;
e) Must be able to demonstrate capacity for maintaining high professional standards;
f) Candidates should not have been dismissed from any school, implicated, convicted or have pending criminal cases of which dishonesty is the principal element.
g) Must be business minded, strategic thinker whose integrity is beyond reproach.
