HEAVY PLANT OPERATOR (Grade 8)

Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Plant Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will operate various types of heavy machinery on construction sites, ensuring safety and efficiency in all operations.

Qualifications:

• At least five Ordinary level passes including English language.

• Valid Class four driver’s license.

• Valid Heavy Plant Operator license.

• A minimum of five years experience operating heavy machinery.

• Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• No criminal record.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate heavy plant machinery including excavators, bulldozers, and cranes.

• Conduct daily safety checks and maintenance of equipment.

• Follow safety protocols and regulations at all times.

• Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members.

• Maintain accurate records of work performed and machine usage.

• Assist in training new operators as needed.
