The following positions have arisen within the City of Bulawayo:
HEALTH SERVICES DEPARTMENT
a. HEALTH PROMOTION OFFICER – GRADE 9 (1 POST)
1. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES/JOB SUMMARY
• Coordinates and implements the Health Communication Strategies.
• Conducts Knowledge Attitudes Practices (KAP) surveys on the health behavioral issues to come up with evidence-based interventions.
• Coordinates and implements health education and promotion activities.
• Coordinates and implements health events at district level.
• Conducts advocacy meetings with staff, stakeholders, community opinion leaders and partners.
1. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
• A Higher National Diploma in Health Education and Promotion/equivalent.
• Must be registered under Allied Health Professions Council of Zimbabwe.
• A valid Practising certificate.
• A clean Class 4 Drivers Licence.
1. EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
• At least 4 years’ experience in a similar working environment.
