Hillcrest Preparatory School is a valued part of Hillcrest Schools, which is a member of Association of Trust Schools (ATS) in Zimbabwe. Our beautiful school is located near Mutare and it supports families who live in all areas of Manicaland and beyond.
We are seeking an exceptional, suitably qualified and experienced individual to lead our Preparatory School into an exciting new chapter with energy, innovation and care.

The position will become available from the 1st of May 2026.

Be a holder of a relevant degree from a reputable University and have at least five years’ of educational experience, at senior level, within the ATS education system.

Bring vision, energy, and positivity to the role of the school leader, setting a tone of excellence and inclusivity.

Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, engaging confidently with pupils, all staff, our parent body and the wider community.

Be an innovative thinker, a collaborator and capable of implementing thoughtful change and continuous improvement in all aspects of our school environment.

Show a strong understanding of contemporary preparatory school education and the importance of providing a well-rounded, balanced curriculum within a Christian ethos.

Have experience in teaching, the management of staff, finances and budgeting.

Have relevant and up to date knowledge of safeguarding and child protection practices.
