Position Overview:
As the Headmaster/Headmistress, the ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in leading our school community towards achieving our vision and goals. The individual will be responsible for providing strategic direction, fostering a positive learning culture, and ensuring the overall success and well-being of our students and staff. You will be especially responsible for fostering and maintaining a cordial relationship between the school and the parents body.
Key Responsibilities:
> Develop and implement the school’s vision, mission, and strategic goals
> Foster a supportive and inclusive school culture that promotes academic excellence, holistic education and personal growth
> Provide instructional leadership and supportto teachers in implementing innovative teaching practices
> Foster and maintain a cordial and healthy relation between the school and the parents body
> Collaborate with staff, parents, and the wider community to create a strong partnership in supporting student development
> Oversee the effective management of school resources, including budgeting and facilities management
> Ensure compliance with relevant educational policies and regulations
Qualifications and Skills:
> A diploma in education though a degree or masters is an added advantage
> A minimum of 5 years of experience in educational leadership, at a senior position including but not limited to Headmaster/Headmistress or Deputy Head or Senior teacher preferably at an independent school
> A deep understanding of primary education and the ability to inspire and motivate students and staff
> Phenomenal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders particularly parents and staff
> Strong organizational and strategic planning abilities
> A commitmentto fostering a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
> A devotional Christian
