Applications are invited from highly competent and qualified persons to fill the following vacant position that has arisen within the organisation.
Head Property Services (Grl)
The incumbent will report to the Deputy Post Master General and will be responsible for the following, among other duties;
- To develop and execute the property and real estate strategic, business and operational plans and initiatives to grow the asset base
- Managing the immovable portfolio of the Group while pursuing and exploring the full range of opportunities in the real estate business
- Managing sales, valuation, property management and land development projects
- Acts as the Company’s Registered Agent and overseeing the Trust Account and ensure that business is conducted in compliance with regulations
- Spearheading immovable assets growth strategies through land acquisition, building maintenance and modernization
- Oversees rentals or leases of properties on behalf of clients to ensure that landlords obtain a fair value of their investments
- Reviews plans for new construction with clients, enumerating and recommending available options and features
Manage all Zimpost Properties and ensure that all property portfolio management issues comply with legal provisions.

- Self-motivated
- Self-supervised
- A proven track record for achieving high impact results
- Computer literate
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor of Science degree in Rural & Urban Planning or equivalent
- MBA, MBL, MSc or any other professional qualification e.g. National Diploma in Real Estate, is an added advantage
- Must be a Registered Estate Agent with the Estate Agents Council of Zimbabwe
- 5 years’ experience at supervisory level
