About the Role

Apostolic Faith Mission is looking for a highly skilled Head Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in kitchen management, food preparation, and staff supervision, with a strong commitment to maintaining high standards in food quality and hygiene. This role requires a results-oriented, ethical individual with leadership skills and a passion for hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the catering team to ensure smooth kitchen operations
• Develop and manage the school catering budget
• Plan and prepare meals for students and staff in line with the school catering roster
• Contribute to the development of a strategy to commercialize some school catering products and services
• Prepare meal charts for management’s approval
• Order food supplies for the school boarding facilities and special events
• Maintain high hygiene standards in food preparation, storage, and serving
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all food handling and kitchen activities

Qualifications & Experience

• Five (5) O-Level passes, including English Language, with at least 3 years of relevant experience, or three (3) O-Level passes, including English Language, with at least 7 years of experience in a similar role
• Supervisory training or experience is an added advantage
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate staff
