REPORTING TO : DIRECTOR OF WORKS
LOCATION : CLEVELAND HOUSE
DEPARTMENT : WORKS
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill in the above mentioned vacancy in the Architectural Division of the Department of Works.
JOB PURPOSE
The position is responsible for coordination of the provision of Architectural and design support to the City, serving as technical advisor for the City in issues regarding architecture and urban design for both public and private projects.
KEY RESULT AREAS
- Plan approvals.
- Building Inspectorate services.
- Management of public works.
- Performance management.
- Architectural degree or equivalent from a reputable university
- Project Management qualification
- MBA/MBL of equivalent an added advantage
- Full membership of Architects Council of Zimbabwe
- A minimum of 5 years relevant working experience with 2 years at middle management level.
- Class 4 Driver’s licence.
