Our client, is looking to hire a Hardware Buyer. The incumbent will be in charge of all purchasing processes for the hardware store. Candidates MUST have at least 2 years hardware experience for this role .
Duties And Responsibilities
1. Research, select and purchase quality products and materials.
2. Build relationships with suppliers and negotiate with them for the best pricing.
3. Process requisitions and update management on status of orders.
4. Update inventory and ensure that stock levels are kept at appropriate levels.
5. Arrange transport of goods and track orders to ensure timely delivery.
6. Analyze market trends and apply this knowledge to make insightful buying decisions.
7. Coordinate with inventory team, management, and stockroom as required.
8. Assess quality of stock received and escalate any discrepancies to suppliers and management.
Qualifications And Experience
Diploma/ Degree in Supply Chain, Procurement or related
