Key Responsibilities

• Repairs and maintenance of school vehicles
• Maintenance of equipment, including assembling fittings, handling school fabrication needs, monitoring service schedules, and maintaining generators.
• Monitoring and controlling job-related stock with the Stock Controller, reporting damages, and recommending proper handling procedures.
• Ensuring the safety of people and equipment in and around the workshop
• Reporting damages and any health hazards associated with the role

Requirements

• Technical competence in general repairs, including welding and vehicle maintenance
• Strong problem-solving ability with sound knowledge of health and safety standards
• Reliability and adaptability, with good communication, time management, and the ability to work independently or within a team
• Certificate in Motor Mechanics
• Certificate in Fabrication
• Five (5) O-Level passes, including Mathematics and English Language
• Clean Class 2 or Class 4 driver’s licence
• Minimum of two years’ relevant working experience
