Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Handyman that has arisen in our Institute. Reporting to the Finance and Administration Manager, the successful candidate among other duties will be responsible for the following:-
Duties And Responsibilities
• Attending to all reported maintenance faults • Maintaining adequate stocks of maintenance consumables • Reporting ZESA and ZINWA faults as soon as possible • Reporting acts of vandalism to management and security • Maintaining sewer ponds • Ensuring that gullies and drains are free from debris • Repairing and maintaining all electrical, plumbing, mechanical and carpentry installations of the Institute and staff residences • Troubleshooting general maintenance problems • Preparing annual preventive maintenance plan for all facilities • General maintenance of the Institute • Supervision of subordinates
