Key Responsibilities

  • Execute and monitor investment settlements and operational transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Perform daily reconciliations across client portfolios, bank accounts and investment records.
  • Support asset management and treasury operations, including trade processing and cash management.
  • Investigate and resolve reconciliation breaks and settlement exceptions in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate operational records and ensure compliance with internal controls and policies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with custodians, banks, brokers and other key stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of operational processes, systems and service delivery.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Prepare and maintain reports and provide timely operational insights to management.
  • Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality, professionalism and integrity in all operations.

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
  • Proven experience in asset management operations, treasury operations, or investment back-office operations.
  • Strong expertise in reconciliations, settlements and investment operations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data and resolve complex issues.
  • Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • High level of accuracy, integrity, confidentiality and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and financial systems is an added advantage.
