Key Responsibilities
- Create a common InDesign template for all project reports.
- Carry out the graphic design and desktop publishing of four needs assessment reports and one case studies publication.
- Professionally design and format five project documents containing text, tables and images.
- Prepare documents for publication as PDF files on webpages and for electronic distribution.
- Ensure that all outputs are copyright and royalty free and that relevant waivers and releases have been obtained.
- Obtain original and stock images where required, unless otherwise agreed with the Division.
- Provide editable InDesign files for each project report, together with the common InDesign template and associated files.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a related field .
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in graphic design , or 5 years of experience with an advanced university degree .
- Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio, including reports and publications.
- Proficiency with relevant desktop publishing tools.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Knowledge of other official United Nations languages is an advantage.
