Graphic Designer Wanted Secondary Book Press (Pvt) Ltd is a leading independent publishing company supplying New Curriculum textbooks for primary and secondary schools in Zimbabwe.
JOB SUMMARY We are seeking a new Graphic Designer to join our team. You will be designing a wide variety of things across digital and offline media. To be successful in this position, you’ll be a self-starter, capable of delivering brilliant creative ideas, and show amazing attention to detail.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Layout books in various sizes, graphic designing styles and colours. • Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing to readers. • Use the appropriate colours and layouts for each book or graphic. • Develop scientific and mathematics illustrations using relevant software. • Preparing finished art by operating necessary equipment and software. • Drawing digital illustrations using any art software. • Prepare books for print. • Amend designs after feedback. • Reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements when necessary. • Contributing to team efforts by accomplishing tasks as needed.

A Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Graphics Designing, Art & Design, Printing & Photography, Visual Communication and Multimedia Design or related field is preferred. 2. At least 2 years of massive experience working with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop) including CorelDraw are a must. 3. Comprehensive knowledge of designing using InDesign is needed. 4. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
