A structured graduate-traineeship program in the Operations Department focused on market surveillance, supervision activities, and risk assessment within the securities market.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in carrying out daily market surveillance activities on key market infrastructures and reporting of all suspicious trades/transactions and any other breaches.
- Participate in market supervision activities, including all inspection programs aimed at securing compliance with regulatory requirements by all Securities Market Intermediaries and Collective Investment Schemes.
- Draft stress tests and risk assessment reports to detect market risks and recommend appropriate interventions.
- Measure licensees’ risk and internal control systems (including capital adequacy) and effectively manage risk policies and strategies.
Requirements
- Recent graduate with a Commerce/Business Related Degree (Actuarial Sciences, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Economics, Risk Management) or any related field.
- Proficiency in risk and financial modelling using computer-based packages.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Packages and Databases.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Data Analytics and Strong Quantitative skills.
