– GRADUATE TRAINEE GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION SYSTEMS (GIS) OFFICER
In line with our vision ‘”to become a vibrantcity of service excellence”, Municipality of Marondera invites applications from suitably qualified, dynamic graduates to undergo a two year structured graduate learnership program in the Municipality’s Finance and Engineeringdepartments. Applicants must meetthe following minimum requirements:
Qualificationsand Attributes
- A degree in accounting from a recognized university for Finance trainees.
- A degree in Geographical Information Systems, Surveyingand Geometries or related field for GIS.
- For GIS candidates must have computer proficiency in GIS related software’s.
- A clean class4 driver’s license will bean added advantage.
- Must be 26 years old or below
- Must be self-motivated, eager to learn and result driven.
- Must be able to work under pressure and with minimum supervision.
- Must be ateam playerand able to fit in adynamic environment
- Knowledge of localgovernment systems will be an added advantage
- Mustbe highly computer literate. Knowledge of Micros oft Off ice package is a must.
