GRADUATE TRAINEE PROGRAM 2019 – 2021

  • An opportunity has arisen for Graduates to join the Trainee ship Program in 2019. The successful candidates will undergo training in the following disciplines: –
  1. Human Resources Management

The responsibilities require the ability to:

  • Providing Human Resources support as required, at HR outreaches, interviews and meetings;
  • Assisting in creating and updating Employee files;
  • Filing all Human Resources communication and records for easy and quick retrieval of information;
  • Facilitating the submission of registration forms for new staff;
  • Processing of exit clearance documentation for staff leaving the organization;
  • Keeping, updating and managing leave days information;
  • Help with coordinating, recruiting efforts, including posting jobs and scheduling interviews.

REQUIREMENTS

  • First class degree (1st Class) in Human Resource Management or Psychology.
  • IPMZ is an added advantage
  • Applicant must have graduated between the years 2017 and 2019

  • O’level English with a B or an A grade attained

  1. ITC 

The responsibilities require the ability to:

  • Develop and maintain front-end website architecture.
  • Design user interactions on web pages.
  • Develop back end website applications.
  • Create servers and databases for functionality.
  • Champion cross-platform optimization for mobile among other uses and ensuring responsiveness of applications.
  • Graphically design for web-design features.
  • Design and develop API’s that meet technical and consumer needs.
  • Conduct general ICT administration and troubleshooting.
  • Perform any other relevant duties as may be assigned from time to time.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • First class degree (1st Class) in A Degree in I.T.C
  • Applicant must have graduated between the years 2017 and 2019

  • Mobile and web development programming.
  • Knowledge of PHP frameworks (Code Ignitor or Lara level).
  • Knowledge of graphic tools and digital marketing media.

  • Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks e.g. Angular JS. High levels of attention to detail, with the ability to pre-empt potential problems and identify inefficiencies.

 

  1. Sales/Marketing

 

The responsibilities require the ability to:

  • Image building
  • Carrying out marketing intelligence
  • Handling client complaints and keeping records for follow up
  • Adhering to and upholding ISO standards and company policies and procedures
  • Arranging customer visits Identifying areas for improvement in services

  1. Public Relations

The responsibilities require the ability to:




  • To Plan, developing and implementing Public Relations Strategies
  • To organise and participating at exhibitions, shows and fairs to raise an awareness and improve on visibility
  • To build a good corporate image through establishing good media relations and other public relations.
  • To prepare and publish newsletters
  • To prepare and com pile of the annual report

 REQUIREMENTS

  • First Class Degree (1st Class) in Public Relations in Journalism and or Communications or equivalent.
  • Applicant must have graduated between the years 2017 and 2019

  1. Geology

The responsibilities require the ability to:

  • Generation and analysis of geological information.
  • Liaison with on Site Contractors/Consultants.
  • Responsible for Mine Geological evaluation work (Open pit & Underground)
  • Closely liaises with Survey, Mine Planning, Laboratory and Mining Departments at different Mine Sites.
  • Actively participates in HSE programs. Geological Modelling using Data mine and Vulcan Software to interpret Ore Body behaviour.
  • Any other Geological duties that may be requested

REQUIREMENTS

  • At least a 2.1 Degree class or better in Geological Sciences, or Equivalent.
  • Applicant must have graduated between the years 2017 and 2019
  • Certified copy of degree transcript and certificate and other relevant academic certificates.
  • Working knowledge of HSE systems and standards.
  • Working knowledge of mining software’s such as Vulcan and Datamine, Surpac is a distinct advantage
  • Excellent communication skills both orally and in writing

 

  1. Surveyor

The responsibilities require the ability to:

  • Evaluating ore resources and project future operations using information & data supplied by various departments and stakeholders.
  • Carrying out initial surveys, risk assessments and environmental impact assessments on potential sites to assess the viability of a potential mine site.
  • Maintaining accurate plans of mines as a whole and will create and update maps of the surface layout which will include buildings and other structures, as well as surveying the underground mine workings to keep a record of the mine operations
  • Responsible for both underground and surface surveys.
  • Any other duties as lawfully delegated

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • First degree in Surveying and Geometrics or any other relevant with at least upper second (2:1) class or better from a recognized institution.
  • Applicant must have graduated between the years 2017 and 2019

  • Excellent communication skills both orally and in writing
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision
