Key Responsibilities
- Compile monthly provincial reports on CCZ activities and consumer issues.
- Produce conciliation and arbitration reports.
- Assist in establishing and supporting Conciliation and Arbitration Centres.
- Organise and conduct consumer complaints clinics within the province.
- Receive, record (harvest) and handle consumer complaints within the province.
- Conduct market surveillance and produce monitoring and surveillance reports.
- Support the production of the Family of Six baskets for the province.
- Undertake research and contribute to the production of research papers and policy reports.
- Assist in establishing and facilitating Consumer Dialogue Platforms.
- Carry out consumer education and awareness activities.
- Develop partnerships with key stakeholders.
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
- A degree in Economics, Law or any other relevant Social Science degree from a recognised university.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Good research, analytical and report writing skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
