Introduction
A Faith Based Organization leading development, advocacy and humanitarian work is looking for volunteer interns in the department of Research, Innovation and Programme Development. In this position, the intern will be expected to embrace the practical knowledge base of the degree he or she is studying towards or has completed, to contribute immensely to the development of our organization and deliver the organizational mission.
Intern duties and responsibilities
Providing desk research; Documentation of the work of the unit; Assist staff in developing key documents such as manuals, research papers and handbooks; Assist staff in developing research and proposals for future programming; Compile and share daily updates on potential funding; Provide logistical and administrative support for the department.
Intern requirements and qualifications
Must be studying towards a social sciences degree or be a postgraduate in Development Studies, Research or related fields; Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel); Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Ability to work with minimum supervision; Excellent multitasking skills; Energetic and eager to learn; Passion for research.
