Key Responsibilities

  • Familiarize with all relevant statutory requirements for the tourism sector.
  • Implement compliance programs for hospitality in Designated Tourist Facilities.
  • Inspect Designated Tourist Facilities for compliance.
  • Carry out on-site consultancy on Designated Tourist Facilities.
  • Writing inspection reports and make recommendations.
  • Produce registration, renewals and grading statistics.
  • Provide consultations to potential and existing operators.
  • Preparing inspection lists and submitting applications to the Deputy Director, keeping a record of the submitted applications.
  • To ensure timeous and accurate processing of all applications received, provide information in response to queries and ensure accurate data collection.
  • Inspect regularly updates of operator’s database.
  • Attending to clients’ queries, enquiries and requests are attended to timeously.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Tourism/Hospitality Management or equivalent.
  • A minimum of two years working at a similar role in the Tourism and Hospitality industry.
  • Computer literate with specific reference to Data Management.
