Tongogara Rural District Council is an equal opportunity employer and is inviting applications from skilled and experienced Grader Operator to fill in the position that has arisen within the organization.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Road maintenance and rehabilitation (light and heavy) grading
* Opening storm water drains.
* Daily keeping and maintenance of the grader.
* Keeping machine records.
* Operating other equipment eg Tipper truck and backhoe loader.
* Performing any other duties assigned from time to time by the supervisor.
Qualifications and Skills
* Certificate in earth moving machine specifically motorised grader.
* Clean class 2 driver’s license.
* At least 2 years traceable experience in operating earth moving machinery.
* Mature and result oriented
* Ability to work for extended periods of time and in various weather conditions.
* Physically fit.
