Key Responsibilities
- Operate motor grader to fine-grade subgrade, base courses, and finished surfaces.
- Read and interpret project plans, cross-sections, grade stakes, and blueprints.
- Follow all site safety rules, regulations, and company policies.
- Perform pre-operational inspections: check fluids, tires/blades, controls, and safety devices.
- Cut and fill slopes, crown roads, windrow materials, and maintain drainage structures.
Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years of verifiable motor grader operation in road construction, site development, or mining.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Heavy equipment operator certification (preferred).
- Must be between 26 and 35 years of age.
- Must be of sober habits.
