VACANCY

Zimasco (Pvt) Limited, a major player in Zimbabwe’s Ferrochrome Production sector, has

some exciting and challenging career opportunities at its Shurugwi & South Dyke Division.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified, competent and experienced individuals to
fill the vacant posts in the Division on fixed-term employment contract basis, renewable
subject to performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Collects samples of Gold Ore at specific points and deliver them to the lab for tests for conformance to specifications.
Account for Gold Ore dispatches and receipts at the mine/plant.
Monitor all Gold mining and processing operations.
Ensure security of company resources including Carbon Columns.
SHE Management within the Mining gold section.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

A Diploma in Mining/Mineral Processing/ Metallurgy or equivalent from a reputable tertiary institution.
At least 2 years’ post qualification experience in a Mining/Mineral processing or Heavy Industry
environment.
A qualification in sampling or ore quality control is an added advantage.
Extensive knowledge in CIL (Carbon In Leach) plants
A sound knowledge of mineral resource management systems.
Experience in contractor management.
Working knowledge of safety management systems, with exposure to the NOSA SHE System being an added advantage.
Must be able to communicate at all levels both verbally and written.
Clean Class 4 driver’s licence a must.
