About the Opportunity
World Vision Zimbabwe is inviting applications for a Graduate Intern to support its Gifts-in-Kind (GIK) and Stores operations. This position offers recent graduates a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in inventory control, logistics, and warehouse management within a globally respected humanitarian organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Track and document all incoming stores shipments.

• Liaise with relevant authorities (e.g., ZIMRA) to ensure compliance with customs and clearance procedures.

• Support warehouse operations including receiving, dispatching, stacking, and stocktaking.

• Maintain accurate inventory records, including bin cards and stack cards.

• Generate and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual stores reports.

• Assist in training and reporting processes for district-level staff.

• Tag and track organizational assets in collaboration with the Administration and Finance departments.

Required Qualifications and Competencies

• A recent graduate (within the past 12 months) with a 2.1 degree or higher in:

  • Supply Chain Management

  • Logistics

  • Business Studies

  • Accounting

  • Or a related field

• Strong understanding of warehousing, stores, and freight forwarding practices.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management systems.

• Excellent attention to detail and high levels of integrity.

• Ability to work independently and interact professionally with diverse internal and external stakeholders.

• A teachable, proactive, and adaptable attitude is essential.
