Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons for the below position that have arisen in the Maintenance department. The position is in the Harare division
GENERATOR TECHNICIAN
Responsible for installing & repairing power generating units within the division
- Installation & commissioning of generator units.
- Conduct breakdown repairs on generators and ensure minimum downtime
- Troubleshoots and conducts repairs on diesel stand-by and transfer switches
- Scheduling & carrying out periodical preventative maintenance.
- Maintains correct records of repairs done, spares used and job cards
- Any other duties as delegated from time to time.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Must have served a minimum of four years Apprenticeship or,
- Must have gone through a successful Trade Testing process
- National Certificate /Diploma in the relevant field
- Must have at least five years post-apprenticeship/trade testing experience
